| Specialty Printing
Merlin International has the capability to print both on unique
substrates and at uncommon sizes to provide
you with unique products. Since we enjoy the engineering challenge
of pushing our equipment to the limit, please contact us if you
have a specific product or substrate and do not see it in the
lists below.
Samples of Specialized Substrates
Label Stock In addition to the usual gloss and matte
paper based stocks, we have successfully printed on vinyl crack
and peel label stock. This stock is very useful if the labels
will be exposed to a harsh environment such as moisture or grease.
Transparency Material We can produce multiple copies
of overhead transparency presentations for distribution to a sales
force. Another use might be for chart overlays in a document making
before and after comparisons.
Cloth based Substrates If you need a cloth-based texture,
several options are available. Some include a latex coating for
durability. These substrates allow the creation of excellent hard
and soft covers for books and manuals that will withstand heavy
use.
Transfer Materials If you have need to transfer an image
or document to another medium such as clothing, this can be accomplished
though the use of transfer materials. The results are vibrant
colors that are both fade and wash resistant (though we have yet
to test it with bleach).

Laminated Card Stock Do you need an ID Card or one that
feels like a credit card but maintains the highest image quality?
While we cant print on laminated stock, we can laminate up to
10mil per side on standard card stock to produce very durable
cards. These cards can even be round edged for the final touch.
Pocket Folders Our ability to print almost unlimited
lengths allows us to create a large assortment of pocket folders.
Besides the usual one and two pocket folders for holding sheets
of paper, we can custom design the pocket to hold CDs or other
media. Pocket folders do not have to be a standard size. Besides
being oversized to hold many sheets of paper the pocket could
be a third panel attached to a saddle stitched-booklet. Contact
us with your ideas and we will help you lay out the document and
provide for the die cutting.
