Merlin International currently has five digital presses.

Xeikon 6000

This web based digital press is capable of imaging 18.5 inches wide. It uses a X-800 Digital Front End (DFE) that is currently state of the art for color variable data applications. It can support 100% variable data coverage which can provide the client with unlimited ability to change every element printed on the page per impression. The DFE also has imposition capabilities. This allows for documents created in applications that do not normally support standard features such as bleed, crop marks and conversion from reader spreads to printer spreads to gain these features.

Xeikon 5000

This web based digital press is capable of imaging 18.5 inches wide. It also uses X-800 DFE. This press can print files originating in RGB color space (Microsoft Word and Powerpoint). It also has the ability to print using multiple screen technologies including a 170 lpi or stochastic screen.

This sheet fed press is great for very short runs or specialty substrates such as label stock. It uses a Creo DFE and is capible of limited variable data.

This high speed B&W sheet based digital press is capable of provide cost effective one color printing. It allows us to provide full service for all your digital printing needs.
